Binny Bansal, co-founder of Flipkart, has officially stepped down from the board of the e-commerce giant he co-founded in 2007 with Sachin Bansal. Binny, currently based in Singapore, communicated his resignation to the board earlier this week, attributing the move to a conflict with his newly established venture, OppDoor, in the e-commerce sector.
OppDoor, a startup founded by Binny Bansal, aims to assist emerging e-commerce brands in global expansion, focusing on businesses as its primary target. This development marks the conclusion of Binny Bansal’s long-standing association with Flipkart. Despite stepping down from Flipkart, Binny remains involved with PhonePe, a company that has also diversified into e-commerce following its separation from the major e-commerce platform.
