As of 11:12 AM (IST) on February 02, the NSE Nifty index traded 246.9 points up at 21944.35, while BSE Sensex was up 771.49 points at 72416.79. In the Nifty index, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (up 6.01 percent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (up 4.79 percent), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (up 4.63 percent), Hero MotoCorp Ltd. (up 3.57 percent), and Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (up 2.97 percent) were among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Eicher Motors Ltd. (down 1.79 percent), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd. (down 0.69 percent), AxisBank Ltd. (down 0.42 percent), Hindustan Unilever Ltd. (down 0.26 percent), and HDFC Bank Ltd. (down 0.19 percent) were among the top losers.
