BGR Energy Systems reported a widened loss of Rs 691.38 crore in the December quarter compared to the same period last year, primarily attributed to increased expenses. According to a BSE filing, the company’s consolidated net loss for the quarter ending on December 31, 2022, stood at Rs 59.22 crore. Total expenses surged to Rs 1,031.38 crore during the quarter, up from Rs 334.29 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year. However, total income increased to Rs 472.68 crore from Rs 258.02 crore recorded in the same quarter a year ago.
In a separate filing, the company announced the resignation of P R Easwar Kumar, President & Chief Financial Officer, effective February 8, 2024. Additionally, S Krishna Kumar, President & Company Secretary/Compliance Officer, also tendered his resignation on February 9, 2024.
