On Tuesday, NTPC announced that its subsidiary focused on green energy has completed the installation of a 14 MW segment of the Ayodhya Solar Photovoltaic Project. NTPC Green Energy Ltd, a fully-owned subsidiary of NTPC, is in the process of establishing a 40 MW solar project in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh.
Following successful commissioning and obtaining necessary approvals, the initial 14 MW capacity of the Ayodhya Solar PV Project by NTPC Green Energy Limited has commenced commercial operations from January 27, 2024. This development brings the total installed and commercial capacity of the NTPC Group to 73,888 MW.
