Television broadcaster Zee Entertainment disclosed a 140 percent rise in profit to Rs 58.5 crore during the December quarter of FY24, compared to Rs 24.32 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year.
The company also recorded a 15 percent uptick in income to Rs 223 crore, up from Rs 194 crore in Q3 FY23.
Zee Entertainment, grappling with the fallout of the terminated merger agreement with Sony, experienced a 52 percent decline in profits sequentially. In Q2 FY24, the company reported a profit of Rs 122.96 crore.
